Booking & Policies

  • Booking an appointment is quick and easy! Just visit our website, pick your service, select a time that works for you, and confirm your booking.

  • Client Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

    As an appointment-based business, each time slot is reserved exclusively for you, and last-minute openings are difficult to fill. This policy helps protect your slot and ensures fairness for all clients.

    Rescheduling:

    • You may reschedule your appointment up to 5 working days (Monday–Friday) before your booking.

    • Rescheduling within the same month will carry your booking fee/deposit (50% of total service cost) to the new date.

    • Rescheduling to a different month will require a new booking fee/deposit.

    Cancellations:

    • More than 5 working days’ notice: Your booking fee/deposit (50% of total service cost) will be forfeited. If you prepaid for your service in full and cancel, you will receive a refund minus the booking fee/deposit, products purchased, and card processing fees.

    • Less than 5 working days’ notice: This will be treated as a late cancellation, and the full service cost and any products will be due from the card on file.

    • Products purchased are non-refundable and payable in full in all cases.

    No-shows & Late Arrivals:

    • If you do not attend your appointment, it will be considered a no-show, and the full service fee will be charged.

    • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late without notifying us, your appointment may be shortened or cancelled, and the full service fee will be charged.

    Last-Minute Availability:

    • For urgent changes, feel free to WhatsApp, text, or call — I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

    Please note:

    • All appointments require a card on file. This ensures your reserved time is protected and helps maintain smooth scheduling for all clients.

    • Booking fees/deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

    • By booking an appointment, you agree to these policies.

  • No, we are appointment-only. This ensures you receive focused attention in a calm and private setting.

  • Yes, we are fully insured with AXA, giving you peace of mind that your service is covered in a professional and protected environment.

  • We understand that sometimes schedules or unexpected situations arise. While we don’t offer regular out-of-hours availability, we may be able to accommodate urgent or emergency appointments depending on workload. Please contact us directly via WhatsApp or call to discuss your needs. A surcharge applies for all out-of-hours or emergency bookings.

  • No, we do not offer mobile appointments. All services are provided at our studio to ensure you receive the best care in a professional and fully equipped setting.

  • At Olivia Style Studios you are welcome to bring someone along.

    At the private studio, please come alone unless otherwise agreed in advance, to keep the environment calm and focused for all clients.

Services & Pricing

  • We offer braids, cornrows, wig installs, custom wig making, sew-ins, and hair care treatments tailored for all hair textures

  • Yes, we provide hair services for children. We make the experience as gentle and comfortable as possible.

  • Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own. We only accept pre stretched hair. If you're unsure what type or amount you’ll need, feel free to ask us for guidance before your appointment.

  • Nope! This is your time to chill. I’ve got everything under control, so there’s no need to pass hair or lend a hand. Just relax, catch up on your shows, scroll, snack, or work, you’re in good hands.

Workshops & Education

  • Yes! You can book 1 to 1 sessions, group sessions or event session. Simply contact us to discuss your requirements.

Location, Transport & Comfort

  • I work across two locations in Chelmsford, Essex.

    When you book, please make sure you select the correct location for your appointment.

    Full address and access details will be included in your booking confirmation email.

    Olivia Style Studios, Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, CM2 0JA

    (Monday to Thursday and Sundays)

    Private Studio, Chelmsford, CM1

    (Fridays and Saturdays)

  • Both locations have parking nearby.

    At Olivia Style Studios, you can park along Moulsham Street for free for up to 60 minutes.

    There are also several car parks close by including Moulsham Street Car Park and Parkway Public Car Park.

    Please allow yourself plenty of time to park and walk to your appointment.

    At the private studio, free unrestricted parking is available nearby.

    More details will be included in your booking confirmation.

  • At the private studio, several buses travel directly from Chelmsford train station and the C2 bus stops just a 3 minute walk away.

    At Olivia Style Studios, Moulsham Street is well connected by bus from Chelmsford town centre.

    Please note that Chelmsford is not in the Oyster card zone, so you will need a separate train ticket to reach us.


  • Yes, you're welcome to bring or order food whilst your here. You can also work or relax during your appointment. We want you to feel at ease while you're here.
