At Hair by Rose Essex, all orders placed through our website are subject to a 10–15 business day processing window prior to shipment. This time is required to handcraft your custom unit or prepare your order with the care and quality you deserve.

We offer flexible delivery options for our UK-based clients:

  • Standard UK Shipping – Delivered in 3–5 business days after processing

  • Free Local Delivery (Chelmsford) – We'll personally deliver your order once it's ready

  • Free Studio Pick-Up – Collect your order from our Chelmsford home studio; we’ll notify you when it’s ready

  • Shipping

    • Processing Time: 10–15 business days before shipping or pickup. This timeframe allows us to construct, customise, and inspect your wig to our high-quality standards.

    • Once your order is ready, you’ll receive an email with tracking information or a message to arrange Chelmsford delivery or pick-up.

    Please note: Our wigs are handcrafted and made to order. We never rush quality.

    Returns

    • Due to the custom and personal nature of our wigs, we do not accept returns.

    • If your wig arrives damaged or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll assess the situation and work with you to find a fair and appropriate resolution.

  • Hair Ordered for Appointments

    • If you are ordering bundles to be used at a booked appointment, the order must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance.

    • If your appointment is sooner, please contact us directly to:

      • Check on-hand stock

      • Or request a rush order (subject to availability and additional fees)

    ⚠️ Hair ordered for appointments is opened and prepared in advance by us, so it is not eligible for return.

    Returns

    • We do not accept returns on bundles ordered for appointments.

    • You must notify us of any issues within 48 hours of delivery.

    • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. A prepaid label can be provided and the cost deducted from your refund if needed.

  • Delivery

    • Tickets are sent digitally via email. No physical shipping required.

    Returns

    • All ticket sales are final.

    • If you're unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else with at least 48 hours’ notice.

    • Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled or rescheduled by Hair by Rose Essex.

    • Not applicable. These services are provided in person at our Chelmsford studio.

    Service Policy

    • No refunds are issued once a service has been completed.

    • If you are unhappy with any part of your service, please speak to us during your appointment so we can address it immediately.

    • Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.

    • Free Local Delivery & Pick-Up available in Chelmsford. You will be notified when your order is ready.

    • Once an order is marked “pending,” we cannot make any changes (to address, product, or shipping method).

    • We are not liable for lost, stolen, or undelivered parcels once handed to the courier. Please contact the delivery provider to file a claim.

    • If your tracking status shows "Delivered" but you haven't received your parcel, check with your local delivery office first.
