At Hair by Rose Essex, we’re passionate about helping you feel confident and cared for. Whether you're booking a protective style, wig install, or custom service, we aim to provide a calm, respectful experience that prioritizes the health of your natural hair.
How Booking Works
Appointments are scheduled online for your convenience.
Simply select your service, choose a date and time, and you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details — including directions to our studio.
To secure your appointment, a £15 non-refundable booking fee is required.
This fee will be deducted from the final cost of your service, with the remaining balance due on the day of your appointment.
Payment methods: Cash, Bank transfer or online payment in full.

We are based in Chelmsford, Essex, across from St. Andrew’s Church (CM1 2HB).
Free parking is available nearby.
The C2 bus stop is just a 2–3 minute walk away.
Please come alone to your appointment unless otherwise agreed, to maintain a calm and focused environment.
What’s Included
Hair Provided: All braiding hair is included in your service price (standard pre-stretched colors: 1, 1b, 2, and 4).
Work-From-Home Friendly: Bring your laptop, use our complimentary WiFi, and enjoy snacks during your appointment.
You don't need to take annual leave — many clients comfortably work from the studio while getting their hair done.Flexible Booking: My calendar is always open 6 weeks ahead, so you can book appointments easily at your convenience.
You’re assured a high-quality, hassle-free experience — just bring yourself!
Time Keeping & Rescheduling
Please arrive on time to enjoy your full service.
A 10-minute grace period is offered if you're running late. After that, your appointment may need to be rescheduled to avoid impacting the next client.
Need to reschedule?
72 hours' notice is required.
If you reschedule on time and within the same month, your original booking fee will carry over.
If you move your appointment to another month, a new booking fee will be required.
